Yes, we are fully insured with Zurich and are happy to provide a Certificate of Currency upon request.
As of January 2016, all payments need to be made directly into the bank account details supplied.
Only if your details change or you need to add/remove any pets since your last booking. Otherwise a text message or email with the dates required is sufficient.
Unfortunately, yes. Because that time has been set aside in a very busy schedule, it is non-refundable. Any amendments to booking dates require 2 weeks notice and an amended quote will be provided.
Yes, a 50% deposit is required on booking (no dates will be held prior to receipt of this deposit), and the balance is payable on conclusion of home visits.
The first pre-visit (where the sitter will come and meet you and your pet/s) is always free of charge. However, if a second (or third) pre-visit is required, either to get a little more used to your pet/s or to collect/drop off keys, each of these times will be charged at $15 to account for time and petrol costs.
To avoid paying this fee, please have a key ready at the first pre-visit or if you’re making regular bookings then we can keep your spare key (securely).

Home Visits
Each pet is different so it depends on their individual needs, although generally a visit is up to half an hour.
To keep your pet/s in a routine and to save any upset stomachs, it is best that they keep with their everyday diet, which means that you will provide the food for the duration of the visits.
Unfortunately not, but I will make that walk up on another visit if possible. For any walks that aren’t able to be done, a refund or credit will be given.
It will usually be me (Emma/Emski) feeding your pets, although if I am unavailable, I have a small group of close friends and family who love to visit pets in my absence, and you would meet that sitter beforehand.
Dog Walking
A walk is generally 30-45 minutes. It will depend on how energetic your dogs are as to exactly how long it will go for, and we’ll use our best endeavours to tire them out completely!
If it’s raining on a scheduled walk day, we’ll do our best to make it up the following day. If that’s not possible, that walk will need to be forfeited for the week. We will always keep in touch with you either way.
We will send you a screenshot of the map with the details each time, using our Fitbit app.
I keep a spreadsheet with the details of when walks are done and when payments are received, so it’s up to you whether you would like to set up a direct debit or make a payment each time you receive a map. We will keep you regularly updated as to how much you are in credit/arrears if it goes either way.
We will only ever walk your dog/s each time. Also, if we see another dog approaching on the street, we will always cross the road to minimize any risk as much as possible (your dog/s may be friendly, but theirs might not be).
Doggy Daycare
That’s completely up to you! We can either take them for an adventure outdoors or cuddle them on the lounge if they’re more comfortable with that. We like to keep risk to a minimum.
Pet Taxi
When you make a booking and provide us with all of the relevant details, upon payment of a 50% deposit we will call your vet and make an appointment either for a weeknight or weekend.
We will then pick up your pet/s (along with any vaccination cards, if applicable) for the appointment and take them to your vet for the relevant treatment.
We will pay for the appointment and return your pet/s back to you at home. You would then reimburse us for the vet bill when you pay the balance of our booking fee.

Please contact your vet and let them know that we will be bringing your pet/s in on your behalf.
